The Angry Young Man Within!

To begin with the main discussion I want to state something which my brother conveyed to me which in turn was conveyed by one of his personality architect. He told that it often happens in life that we frame an image of a person in mind and then at any occurrence of any incident in future we try to fit in that image of his with that incident.

Now to bring up the substance of the discussion I feel that people often regard me as an angry young man(that's what I perceive) who is ready to take up fight with anyone. Today I had a discussion with one of my best friend that what is the way to deal with issues perturbing you, I had the view that if anything is hurting you then you should make him/her realize the mistake that it is hurting you or tell there's something wrong in what he/she is doing. Earlier I had a discussion with my mother also that why is it that people misunderstand me and take me as a very angry person while all that I want is to make a discipline in this world.

I believe that there should be harmony in this world and all people who are doing anything wrong to anyone should be brought to justice. You may call me a maniac, an extremist, but that's how I am. All people whom I interact with tell me one thing - YOU CANNOT CHANGE THIS WORLD ALONE, and I am always questioning this to them, the God and myself - WHY!!!

Why can we not change things alone, why do we need to listen to people or ignore them and not go against the grain, will it not be our weakness?! Should we not keep so much confidence in our heart that we can make a difference to this world? That's how the world is! - A universal reply from all!

The urge for justice has not developed suddenly, it was with me since childhood, I have had my own ways of protest and I didn't cared if on the receiving side was my friend, my parents or my enemy(There's no enemy in this world for me, more talks on this any other time). I remember my parents used to ask me to switch off the lights and fan whenever I left any room, and I always did, but the main thing which annoyed me was the fact that my brother mostly forgot to do the same and my parents were not so much concerned with it. Then to make them realize that it was incorrect I used to switch on all the fan and lights and even the geyser and stuff. I wanted that rules should be equal to all! I was way too stubborn.

Equality is what I have always valued in life, equality to me as well as equality for anyone who is not much related to me. Take for example the sikkim trip which I recently had with my parents. We were coming from Pelling to Gangtok on a sumo. The driver was a nice and innocent person who made every effort to make our journey a comfortable one. As soon as we arrived in town papa asked the driver to drop us at the hotel, but the driver refused politely saying that the discipline of the town didn't allow the vehicles from Pelling to stop alongside road and they were only allowed to stop at Pelling stop. But my father was quite reluctant to hear this logic and became angry, I said to papa to relax down but that didn't stop his anger. The driver also said that if he will stop then he would have to pay a hefty fine(500/- something), then anyhow we arrived at the Pelling stop and the poor driver even said and did pay Rs. 100/- for a taxi to drop us at the hotel. Then it happened few days later that Papa was angry at mother and me also due to some reason. I asked papa that he had hurted the poor driver also while he was just doing his duty, the humiliation he had to suffer was not prudent. And I as a method of protest didn't speak a word for next two days. we were in Siliguri and I stayed alone at the hotel, all I asked papa and was adamant at was to apologize from that driver who was just doing his duty. And we did notice that rules and regulations were just flawlessly implemented in Sikkim as far as traffic is concerned!

I have also got into altercation with police inspectors. It happened so that I parked car at Lucknow Railway Station along with some other cars(mostly had red beacons), when we returned after leaving a guest we found our car missing. To cut short the police inspector had taken the car in custody because it was  parked at no parking. Then I by my usual impulsive and angry nature demanded to show any "no parking" signal where we parked, I also asked that how the heck the red beacon cars were allowed to stand there while ours were taken away! When things deteriorated and it was looking clear that he was in mood to demand money he asked my parents to make me silent but I shouted by saying "agar hum chup ho jayenge to aap jaise corrupt log desh ko barbaad kar denge!" (if I will be silent then corrupt people like you will spoil the nation!). Later Papa asked me to leave and told he will 'handle' the situation himself.

Then I also once had altercation with our school chemistry Ma'am who supposedly mentioned the practical date in her coaching and I on the practical date didn't knew about the same and hence didn't bring the lab apron. I was not allowed to take the practical and when I told the coaching fact it made her angry and she asked me that whol told me about the same. When she was adament on her stance and was leaving for staircase I shouted at her and demanded "aap mera practical lengi ya nahin?" (you wil allow me to take practical or not?)

Also I remember an instance where a drug peddler was distributing drugs on rickshaw to few people and when I saw the same I told mom that we should inform police, my mom denied and told to be silent about it. For last couple of years I also didn't talk to my grandmother, the reason was she had given some sweets to the house helper on the paper which I threw in the dustbin, I demanded an answer as to why the poor helper was given sweets in that dirty paper, when that person has life then she should be treated in a humane way.

I also many a times asked papa that I didn't wanted any plot by my name in noida which later came into limelight in news(I won't elaborate on this one as it would get controversial, but the crux is what is wrong, is WRONG, no matter if I am the beneficiary!)

When I came into L.B.S.I.M. things were no exception, the resistance continued. When immature behavior was shown by some classmates then I asked why the projector, the screen, etc is manhandled and on the other hand you students say that 'infrastructure is lacking', when you have been given good infrastructure then you need to respect it. On another instance I asked on receiving a sports club mail that the contact number should be provided to help a person contact the required person, (the mail was asking to give names for some sports event and the contact number of the required person was not provided). I was as polite as I could, but all that I received was a 'reply to all' from a student that why I am poking my nose at everyone's business!

Once a student wrote on my facebook wall some words of abuse, now I didn't want to abuse by using same derogatory language style so instead asked my friends to convey well wishes to him to 'get well soon'!

These issues are just a handful of sand out of the vast desert. I always want that people should know where they are wrong and they should accept their mistakes, It's not that I have had a clean life all throughout, I also have gone wrong many a times in my life and I am ready to learn from my mistakes. I want people should be in their limits when it is about enjoying and having fun and the thin line should not be crossed to hurt and demean anyone.

When I was too much perturbed I also went and talked with my mentor, I asked that why it happens that you want to correct the system and it happens that people starts getting against you, and she told this wonderful story(just writing the crux):
Once husband wife were going to a place with their bull.
People laughed 'they have a bull and still walking'!, Now husband gets on top of bull>
People laughed 'poor lady is made to walk, how torturous of her husband'!, Now Husband gets down and lady gets on top of bull>
People exclaimed 'What a pativrata nari(husband respecting lady), she does not even care for her husband', now both of them gets on top of bull>
People laughed 'what a torture to the poor animal'!!!

So the fact is people would try to put you down no matter what you do and the image people have in mind of you is all what they will try to fit you into with future events. Anyhow, I don't know whether this resistance is gonna end or not and whether the 'firebrand' Ankit Bhatia will get cooled down ever or not! Last but not the least I urge people to be more humane, believe in self respect of others and the feeling of Equality, Sincerity and honesty should be present in life. And we should be striving for improving things rather than 'chalta hai' attitude!

Let's make the world a better place, It's we who have to change the system for a good! And I can't help if people see me as an 'angry young man' because they really have not seen my soft side as yet! If I work anywhere or study anywhere than it is like my family and I will do anything possible for the betterment of that place...

May God be with all,
-Ankit Bhatia

The Quote collection

This post is dedicated for the quotes which I find enough fascinating to make them listed over here:

Both optimists and pessimists contribute to the society. The optimist invents the aeroplane, the pessimist the parachute.

People smile at me coz I am different,
I smile at them coz they are all just the same.

Tendulkar: I have said this before, defeats do not depress me. They motivate me.

Why I became a CR!

For my classmates - who ask me why I became a CR, please see this!
For my friends - who ask why I am out of touch for so long please see this!
For other people who would just like to read something new - please read this!
Often my classmates ask me that why I became CR (acronym for class representative) when I keep complaining about the workload. Well the answer is not a sentence but is the whole duration of my college life, to be precise the answer starts from day one of my college life i.e. 14 June 2010.

We came to college and we were asked in case anyone would like to be the CR. I always kept in my heart a want to hold a position to represent my class but because I never knew if I would do justice to the role hence never gave it a shot. Meanwhile Amit and Ankita gave their nod to be the CR post. So here we are! - 2 CRs brimming with energy with a vision in their eyes.

As soon as a class got over I used to take material from the class computer to make my material archive. Because I used to take backup of the study material regularly some of my classmates requested to send them a copy as well, if somebody expects me to help them it is my pleasure to help them, hence I never used to disappoint them and sent a copy to anyone who requested. Soon I made an email list and LBSIMXCHANGE group to share the material.

I remember helpless Amit used to listen to complaints of Teachers that such and such work assigned was not done by him and he gave these miserable cute looks! Especially I remember how Asha Tiwari Ma'am used to leg pull him! I often thought there should be some brownie points for such a post when you do your work as well as help your classmates and get ridiculed in return. Whenever there was something that the classmates didn't receive that they were to get (email, photocopies, etc) 50+ voices echoed with the name in sync "amit, amit, amit!!!" Earlier I also told Amit that in case ever he needed my help then I am there to support him.

So the story becomes this: A burdened CR, and me taking study material and distributing it to students! Later Amit resigned from being a CR, he told me that "saara kaam to tu karta hai fir meri zarurat kya hai", but somewhere I think it was the humiliation and the workload because of which he gave up.

But as they say the life moves on, hence, our course coordinator Ashish Garg Sir had to choose another CR. He called me into his cabin and said you have to be the CR now as the students have mentioned your name. I thought if my classmates think I can help them then it would be a privilege for me to be the CR. I always gave my 100% to do justice to my job. From material backup, to taking photocopies, to mediate with the teachers, to making spreadsheets, to managing supplies needed in class, to attending phone calls at 2:30 A.M. in the night I gave my full effort. Sometimes I even had to shell out of my pocket for taking the photocopies done.

I preferred forwarding the emails or uploading the material at the group. But soon classmates urged to do both which added to my irritation, combined with the request by few(who have habit of deleting their emails) that please send so and so material or email again! Now I had to hunt from my long list of emails that email that contained the information or material. Often teachers asked me to collect group PPTs and send it across the class / Get a form filled by students, but to my dismay is I have to ask them, then remind them and then remind them again and then also the work was not even 80% done!

I lay there, overburdened with guilt in my heart that I was not able to give sufficient time for my group work and also to my studies / friends / desires! Often friends complained that I had forgotten them! And there were also classmates whom I devoted so much time but still they said I never give them time! Even my parents used to say I talked only once in a blue moon, now that's the last thing you would like to hear from your parents.

When it was getting over my head I requested Ashish Sir to make a Co-CR(it was a mystery if any co-CR existed!), but he did not make one and said that you only have to forward my emails, he said if two CRs will be made then none of the two will do the work. I also fractured my leg few months back and I always felt somebody would get up and say I would bring it for you but Delhi is such a bad place to expect tehzeeb and 'pehle aap' culture!(Missing lucknow!). When even my friends didn't get up for a helping hand my grief was turned into sorrow!

Soon I began being irritated over things, and phrases such as "Ankit you don't even take responsibility" made me erupting with anger (later I apologized), Somebody's anger was often ejected at some innocent targets (many a time at parents too). I used to talk with my brother and sister-in-law that what can be done with such a responsibility in which one might even spoil his career, where students expect to be spoon feeded and there are no self initiatives (and then we call ourselves MBAs)!

Now one fine evening call of our Management Grid's Vice-President came (Student body), he asked me to make an sms sending group (eg way2sms), I apologized as I was barely making my ends meet as far as time is concerned, for forming such a group you have to make a form, take numbers from all and then feed one by one into the account (it's another matter that I took a self initiative to take addresses and contact numbers of students few days back). I requested the person that I can give the contact numbers and he can form the group but he gave negative answer. Earlier Amit used to send sms but Amit said that he has deleted the account or something like that. When I asked why don't he being the vice-president kindly do the concerned job himself he cornered by saying he does not have enough time for the same. When I told him I too do not have enough time for myself and I am not even able to dedicate time to my group and my studies he retaliated by saying things such as "tu CR bana hi kyon / ya to kaam kar ya resign kar / ye saare CR ke hi kaam hote hain", anyhow I asked him to delegate the work but his stance stay unbeaten! He was sounding more 'bossy' then a leader of students (leader: ‘A person who rules, guides or inspires others'), he asked me to talk to Ashish Sir to resign as a CR!

So when it was too much for me to bear in return for the effort I was giving I called up Ashish Sir and told I want to leave the post, Ashish Sir was sympathetic and told that he has made me a CR for his convenience and that I was not bound to obey all the requirements of others, if I quote he said that I am not a servant of anyone. That healed my anger to some extent; I shot a mail to students and teachers telling I will only be responsible for forwarding of emails and for managing the class related supplies.

As the new trimester started so started with it a new challenge, with challenges guilt also increases. As God has recently gifted me a niece I often feel guilty that I am not able to spend time with her. And as it is with me I never hide from responsibilities but I do not like to spoon feed people. I am impulsive hence erupt with emotions easily. And believe me Delhi is a very different place as compared to Lucknow as far as Sharing of work is concerned. There have been instances of groups having material in advance (from which tests will be conducted) but they keep to themselves, cheating is another issue, many more issues which can get more controversies started if I state them here. I am a fighter who sees positivity in negativity, people often say that I talk much negative but unless you recognize the negativity around you, you can never improve the things

Ahh, the topic is now going wayward so I better end it here, the summary is I am the sole CR of the class burdened with work(other sections have 2) and with plenty of hiccups every now and then, people didn't knew why I became a CR so I hope this write-up would do the justice for that one! This article is some sort of R.T.I. for me!

 May God be with all,
Ankit Bhatia

PS1: This article is not to defame anyone, nor it is about demeaning my classmates, it's about looking at our mistakes and leaning from them / putting ourselves in other's shoe and excelling by taking initiatives rather than relying upon someone! And blogging is my passion to mention about my life so it's nothing about taking revenge as a comment mentioned!
PS2: I am not in a position to read the article all over again so please email to me if you find any grammatical mistake in the article.

Errata and Apologize: Our Dear friend Amit and his mates have told that Amit Resigned not because of workload but due to lack of work as CR, In this blog I presumed that he resigned due to workload so I apologize for the same.

And also I re-iterate that this blog is my personal space and I have 'Every Right' to write about my life, it's right according to me as far as it's pure facts!

The mystery search for mom's childhood friend...

Think for a moment how would you feel when you get a chance to meet or hear voice of any of your old childhood friend in a sudden encounter which you never expected to happen. With youngsters the time period can be relatively short, but think of elder people getting to greet their pals after a gap of tens of years, for most of us we can only think what may happen, but the feeling is indeed very unparalleled for the old buddies.

A few days ago while I surfing as usual on the Social portals my mother teased me and said that you youngsters search and meet your old friends, if your social portals and Internet really have so much potential then show me if you can make me meet my old friend. Her tone was not in a serious way but just a playful vexation. But somehow it made my adrenaline flow and I thought of it as a challenge, I would really feel proud if I made my mom meet her friend after about 20-25 years.

So the search began..., searched aunty's name on Orkut and Facebook only to find one match which could come closest to the description, but my mom said the profile picture does not match the image of her she had in her mind, I just sent a short note to that profile in case it was what we were searching for and asked to revert back.

In the mean time my mother hunted the old directories and provided me an address of her friend which in the end proved to be inaccurate. I began googling with aunty's name and when it got no result I tried uncle's name only with no luck. I tried the soft version of the Pune directory and searched for the surname, society, road, localities, tried all sorts of permutation and combination but it yielded no favourable results. Every failure produced a new desire to bounce back and prove the power of technology to my mom and of course my shrewd way of tackling things :D .

When one way gets closed other ways open, it is only that once we have decided our destination that we get to know the path, I have chosen my destination, and when the usual path closed I was game for the harder path. Now instead of searching for aunty's number I began calling people in her locality with the help of the directory, because the address was inaccurate(I got to know that after all this searching procedure) I did get a few failures, also some people were speaking in marathi which made it difficult to interpret. Somehow one gentleman said that you called in the right society but the building is different, he said that I should call in half an hour and he would somehow get the contact number from the flat I intended to convey my message to. Another lady said that I called in the right building and she noted my number and said she would give the number to her, she also said that it would be difficult for her to give the mobile number as she didn't want any breach of privacy which was quite acceptable to us.

After all the drama and elapses of time and so many calls finally our landline rang about 1-2 hours afterwards, Mom picked the phone upstairs and I rushed to see the scene, what I could hear were mirthful laughter mixed with a dash of nostalgia. I could decipher it all, finally the search and the hard work proved fruitful. After all the conversation between the duo I got a chance to talk to aunty, she was very elated from what I could make with her voice. She blessed me so much that I began blushing. It was quite an honour for me :)

I talked to her son afterwards and we linked our facebook profiles, he uploaded snaps of aunty which I showed to my mother, she began comparing them with the photo she had with her since long ago!... I enjoyed each and every part of this mystery search :)

May God be with you all,

I care for the soul within...

I am writing this post just because I am deeply hurt today, some people say that I judge a person by his/her face. What I ever cared for in this world was to analyze the soul of a person, looks are temporary in this world, soul is the permanent thing - it stays with us from the time we are born till we bid goodbye to this mysterious world. I am proud to have made strong friends who do not have good 'faces'(what the world believes is the benchmark). I am also proud that most of them do not fall into high society, the society even if I falled into but I never cared for it, I always made sure simplicity always survived.

I do not understand why do we people mostly apply our cynical part of the brain, we should analyze how a person actually is. For me the three pillars of life are:

1: Truth

2: Equality

3: Care for nature

And I support all the above 3 with a head held high, no regrets what so ever. I know how it might feel when people have no legs and no arms(I have seen people in actual life with both arms and hands missing), and I cry deep within to ask God to give some of my Happiness to him and take some of his sorrows and give it to me in return, still people think I care only for face, so fast we judge! Even as I am an animal lover I do not fantasize to adopt good breeds, I care for street animals and better still animals who suffer or lack something!

People who are close to me know me better, they know what type of thoughts I have and what I want from life but just to make it clear I will also like to state here so that all people who think I am a very selfish person can know what I think like. I want to make a restaurant in life, my dream restaurant. No I am not talking about the usual restaurant but a restaurant by which I want to do social service also, I want to open up a restaurant(restaurant chain in future if successful) in which orphans will serve as a waiter, active ladies from old age homes will cook the food along with prostitutes who want to quit their profession and join the mainstream, I think it might succeed as everyone wants to do social service but hesitate to come and help, a restaurant will remove their hesitation. I also dream to adopt a child(If I marry is the condition!)

Papa brought a sedative as I wasn't falling asleep because of this turmoil but I guess an apology(which I just now got from that person) will serve as a better sedative. As I now am a 'better' mood so I think I should end this post now as the emotions used to continue this post has vanished. And just a message: I think I am true to my heart coz I own a blog where I have guts to share my life openly! :)

Luv Everyone!

My First Successful Sting Operation: Culprit Caught Red Handed!

We often see on tv politicians and ‘stars’ caught red-handed by sting operations, casting couch, etc. But we never explore our thoughts to think if it exists in our life as well. I thought of giving a try to this possibility and what results I got were shocking, I could not believe what I saw, read on to know what happened…

Papa had gone to haridwar for some rituals for the peace of my badepapa’s soul who departed from us about a fortnight ago. In the house were three of us: myself, mummy and Rashi bhabhi. Mummy and Rashi bhabhi decided to go to kapoorthala for shopping. As they went away, I went to 1st floor of our house to do the usual computer related activities.

Meanwhile I was interrupted by the bell. As we have a joint family system and have two houses, we have kept both the house conjoined back to back, accessible by the doors on the service lane and a bell on either side. I went and opened the door and it was our soft spoken maid(I will not state her name to malign her reputation for ever so take her name as ‘Maid R’ ) who was standing there. She asked where is ‘aunty’, I told that she has gone outside the house, now she asked which place, I thought that it was just a usual question by a nice family maid, So I replied that she has gone for shopping to the Kapoorthala Market.

As soon as I finished this little talk I stated to climb upstairs presuming that she might have come to do some kitchen work or so. As soon as I stepped on the 1st floor I heard the sound of our almirah(cabinet) which has that peculiar opening and closing shrieking sound. As the sound came in softly to the ears, I went casually to see downstairs.

As I came below I asked what happened, Maid R came outside chaiji’s room and said nothing happened, and when I asked what sound came she replied - lad gayi(just collided by mistake). I said ‘lad gayi’?, anyhow I was thinking about what had happened and decided to stay there. I  switched on TV just to appear busy.

Then started the moments which began showing her in a hurry, she would come again and again and take something with her to the other house, first flour , then tomatoes then something else, Each time I closed the backdoor thinking she has done the job. Then when I was annoyed by again and again opening the door I said in a bit harsh tone – ‘ek baar mein hi leja sab’ (Take everything you want once and for all!). Then when she went away last time, I closed the door and went to chaiji’s room and inspected the locker, I found that the door of locker was not fastened.

Meanwhile mummy and bhabhi came from the market. Maid R again came and urged them in a persistent manner that food is ready in the other house and badimummy is very hungry so come fast to eat, she was not even giving a second to think so mummy went with her to our other house. Meanwhile bhabhi was also preparing to go there when I just softly asked bhabhi to come upstairs, I silently asked her to inquire privately to mummy if she locked the locker when she went away.

Maid R earlier was quite rushing to make everone come to the other house, she was also looking a bit foolish when she was closing the door of the bathroom as if to show how much she cared for the house, she also said in a caring fashion for me that ‘bhaiya ko tamatar pasand hain’(I like tomatoes), blah blah… As I mostly bath in the afternoon time I didn’t go with them and decided to take a bath and then go for lunch.

As I was bathing, Maid R was constantly ringing the bell, when I was annoyed I called up bhabhi and said please let her know that I am bathing. When I was about to leave for lunch I thought to keep the mobile to capture video in chaiji’s room coz my sixth sense was pointing it to me that Maid R will come back as she might have forgotten to keep the locker open.

When I went to badimummy’s house(130 Chandralok) Maid R was trying every possibility to come back to 268 Chandralok(house in which cabinet was present), sometimes she would go to take the plastic waterglasses. Finally she got her chance when sweetie didi asked for juice and mixer wasn’t working in 130 Chandralok. She went and mummy also went with her, when the work was done she asked mummy to take the juice for the ever restless didi.

When we all ate the food I came back to check the video, and shockingly found that she indeed came back to lock the locker. The video(what I have uploaded is a clipped version) showed that as soon as mummy left she hurriedly entered the room, picked up keys from the floor, locked up and went. She came in again and it appeared she placed something or picked up something on/from the table. As the room was not lit properly and a cloth had come infront of the camera it could not be made out what she placed or picked.

Anyhow we all were quite shocked by this incident as the Maid R is quite soft spoken and is even younger to me, and she is sometimes given charge to take care of the house in our absence! Previously other people have also complained about her, and mummy once caught her in an offensive position with a male helper, and many other times by her suspicious activities. My mother also found the money a bit less many a times when she opened the locker. And with the ease that she came and lock the locker shows that how acquainted she was with it.

It is not shocking so much for that a maid is stealing but more outrageous because it is a hard time for our family and for a maid that is taken care of by even educating her, it was simply indigestible. My Badepapa even made sure that her sister who was working earlier in the house had a decent wedding. It had immense impact on my belief of having faith on any person, but anyhow I do still believe that faith should still be kept on people because all people should not be ignored just because of misdeeds of few back-stabbers! Also please reward people who are honest otherwise honesty will die slowly...

Moral to give: Please do conduct sting operations by deliberately placing some moolah and see honesty of your helpers! Don’t trust blindly and be alert.

Shameless, Senseless and Sadistic Spamming

It is a method to reach out to the millions by just some textual matter and clicks, I am talking about spamming. We all do it sometimes in our life to promote our blogs, websites, feelings, business, to be frank I have done spamming in my life as well, so much that I don't remember how many hundreds of profiles I have made for it.

But I am here to present an altogether different story of spamming that lay hidden in ignorance and people spam as if in a chain reaction to think that they are doing good but instead they are inflicting pain upon the needy people. I am talking about spamming in which the e-mail asks the recipient to forward it to others as each forward will yield certain amount that will be used for the treatment of some person who is in dire need for the same.

Now the thing is people generally come up with their sentimental feelings and forward the e-mails after seeing the disturbing and pity enticing photos without doing proper research, that is what aggravates the feelings of a person who knows the reality behind these e-mails and still feels helpless and tormented. I too fall in that category and I hate these kinds of e-mail some of which I receive from my very close friends, but to be prudent it is wrong to just suffer because we need to educate others and that is why I have made this post, please keep this post in your mind and don't me send me e-mails about forwarding an e-mail to help cure a cancer patient or accident victim or orphaned kid. E-mails that claim that for every forward the person in question will receive such and such amount ought to be deleted right away and the sender need to be reported.

I am giving certain examples of these hoax charitable emails that exist, you can check about these hoaxes on www.hoax-slayer.com

4: This one doesn't qualify as a hoax mail but because I got this message in my orkut scrapbook just moments ago I thought to pen down this one as well:
m sorry for sending dis. If u luv Ur mom send dis to 10 people.1 girl didnt snd and her mother died after 365 days later, i luv my mom. I can't ignore
----------------------

This is just the tip of the iceberg, many hoax e-mails are circulating from 10-20 years because nobody cares about the source of those emails.

I once got into scuffle with an online guy who posted a post on his blog about urging people to help the poor victims, I am posting the snippet of our talk here so that people can know that I am serious about this issue no matter if I am receiving it from my closest pals:

-----

Hi Nitin, Its a shame that you have created this post http://nitinsb.blogspot.com/2005/07/prayer-to-god-ua-rated-post.html

I am related to IT industry and know there is virtually no way to track countless forwarding mails across the globe. I think you should have shame upon yourself to derieve monetary benefits on the sake of innocent people who really need help.

This is really heartless of people like you, they're a burden on this earth!
-----
I never asked anyone anything. Pity you people fail to understand the sentiments attached.

And you being in IT is a shame to the industry as such.
-----

Huh what lame reply, I have much sympathy for the people who need them, I dont wanna "show" that. May be you dont know that email forwards(chain mails) cannot be tracked and hence some moolah that it is said will be given out to sufferers is just a joke. i would give you a crore if you can prove that these chain mails are for real. I know you will never be able to.

Do a research on net and I'm pretty sure you'll come to a conclusion. Sympathy should be in Heart, It shouldn't be Pompous

I guess you were not aware of these facts in that case shun these things and aware others, and in case you were aware it is a big disgraceful act.
-----

Happy Creature??

Poor you!! Tchh Tchh... I really dont know how lame you could be to spam and invade my mailbox firstly. Secondly, if you think you are good at reading, read the blog well. I say, people think that it works. All I did was to highlight a story that even I felt is not worth. You are really one of them who I put in my sorry list.

I hope u never reply back to this one. BTW, I dont even care whether AOL or someone else listens up to such stories. Maybe you are one of those few troubled by such mails. Which irritates you. Or maybe, you hate being sympathetic in any way. And finally, I dont give a bulls waste to your so called "ARGUMENT" here. And of course, you are in an IT industry, but not an IT pro. Nothing is "not trackable". That is the reason cyber crime "CAN BE CONTROLLED".
-----

As far as you say I am not an IT pro then let me assure you am not that and never claimed that also, I just said that you can do a research and you will henceforth automatically know what is the truth.
For me being not sympathetic then yes I am not sympathetic to those who used sadistic approches to "CLAIM" that they have sympathy. I was sympathetic for the needy people that's why I highlighted this case to you otherwise I wouldn't have taken even the effort to write this email.
And regarding the "STORY" you yourself have agreed that it was not worth to be put up so you shouldn't have done in the first place.
And lastly if you think to bring up the issue that is for a "REAL CAUSE" and to aware others and to tell them the truth about it is spamming, please ignore this mail and continue your trifle spamming.
Thanks and may God bless you.
-----

So friends if you receive or see any emails like the one's I have talked about I hope you know now that what you need to do. Please don't fall into emotional traps, use your brain also after doing a bit of research, don't aggravate the feelings of who need sincere help, if you want to do charity better do it with your own hands rather than trusting an unknown virtual stranger.

Please....

- May God be with everyone!

Abeyance and mind blogging...

I know I could not keep my promise, I know I stayed away for too long from my dear blog... Hey I am not saying this to anyone out there reading my blog but also to my inner self - my soul who urges me to blog, my mind which makes up a blog title and writes down an entire blog post before I go to sleep. It has been my life... really!

When you feel strangulated in this world a blog gives you the freedom to vent out your anger at your opponent in the best possible verbosity, you can swear at anyone. You can list out what you feel for your country and its most corrupt and chauvinistic leaders.

Every small thing that you encounter in life takes a chunk of your life away with it and giving the essence of an associated feeling, this feeling whatever it may be negative or positive need to be listed so that the people associated with it can know if they went wrong anywhere and retrospect themselves or know that how much they are valued by someone other.

So much is going in the world today, so much to mention.... will be back...May the God be with you all...

Missed my blog, And my Friends

Everyday when I was about to snuggle into my bed for the dreams to catch me up, I used to think, is today the day to rejuvenate my blog to bring it to life again? Want was high but somehow it got procrastinated again and again, but today I will break the ice. The thoughts accumulated everyday; there were millions of them which I wanted to share.

The past few days were seemingly quite rough for me. First reason that I dedicate to that attribute was due to my disturbed body clock. I slept at 4 in the morning and was waking up at 1 past noon. The past routine had made the timings so firm that even if I tried to sleep at around 1 in night, I would still end up jostling for the next three hours. Insomnia was finally put off by the wonder medicine "sleeping pill".

The second reason is primary and more influential than the one already mentioned. And the one involved (I won't say culprit) is not me but you, because I miss all my friends. Be it Fidelis or NIEC or ICC or CL or Orkut or any other social point, each of them had given me a reason to live for. I wonder how time changes everything, professionalism overshadows the socialism. Everything seems to be put on overdrive. 24 hours dont seem enough, it won't ever be even if god made it 48 hours a day! I miss all my friends, most of them are out of Lucknow, and those in Lucknow are busy with their daily chores. But whatever be the reason, one thing I know for sure, they are always close to my heart...oops sorry YOU are close to me (I forgot YOU all are reading this post already).

Last but not the least reason is that I hate this city life, I want to be close to nature and I cannot see any part of nature from my window, can just see smoke, hear the horns, feel the hatred brewing in the heart of people. Although I try to be happy just by playing the beautiful moments of the past, thinking of the rain and smelling the mud, hearing the drops when they mention their joy on meeting the earth again. I miss the most beautiful part of nature, the animals, dogs, cows, birds, etc; I like them all no matter if they are strays. More I will discuss about this in my next post, for the moment bye to all!

Introduction to Email Spoofing

Day before yesterday while I was making a website and was just sort of trying out things, when, I found a way to spoof e-mail. Though I heard about email spoofing from way back in time but had never been so close with it. It happened totally inadvertently.

The instant I found out that I could send an email to anyone with anyone's email address I did have a feeling of "Power", but this feeling was short lived, Mainly because I was stung by the fact how these glitches can be misused by people with evil minds. Though I explore these kinds of things but yes I never see them as features for taking undue advantage over others, I just like to keep my knowledge about hacking techniques for defense purpose. Also previously about 2-3 years back I designed a web page for educating masses how to prevent giving themselves to Phishing. It was an Orkut lookalike sign in page but many people thought it as a Phishing page itself!, haha, anyways!

Below is the image in which I emailed myself and showed as if the email had come from billgates@microsoft.com

Destiny has its own plans!

The third year placement sessions were going on. Our college had a placement rule that if anyone gets placed in a company he cannot give interviews of upcoming companies. So we can be placed in a maximum of one company only.

HCL was the first one to approach our college, NIEC. It was raining like cats and dogs that day!, The process of selection extended till late in night, Luckily I got through the first round but could not clear the interview. I was depressed as it was my first attempt and I always wanted to achieve success at the earliest of opportunities. Meanwhile my Best Pal at the college Anup also did not get through the selection so we in a way consoled each other.

The next company to strike the placement bell was Satyam(in Ramaswaroop college), got through the written round but could not pass the GD this time. Anup passed the written as well as GD but the rest of the process took very long to complete and results were declared after Infy's result(read on...). I was dejected this time as Anup and I wanted to work in the same company because of our fast friendship. Next I gave placement of Iflex in UCER, Allahabad but this time could not clear the written. Did not gave the Syntel placement exam though which held earlier than Iflex placements.

The dejection took some time to get off me. Now Infosys approached in Ramaswaroop college. I was in a way not aware that that was the day for Infosys Placements. I seem to have forgotten that fact. But still as I confirmed the fact I headed to Ramaswaroop. Infosys selection panel showed us the Infosys Presentations and the training center of Mysore where the trainees would be undergoing training. The moment I saw the presentation it was like "I just want to be in this company", the word "Infoscion" had a great impact on me(Info=Infosys, Scion=Descendant).

My friend Anup could not give the written as his board Exam's percentage was below the required criteria. When written exam started I was very much focused on the paper. I noticed some other people gossiping their way through the exam. I passed the written exam. The only thing I required to clear next was the Interview session as the placement process did not incorporated any GD round.

The tension was building up. But yes the confidence in me was roaring that time. But as I did not know about the placement schedule that held that day I was not having proper formal dress. I thought to go to Anup's house to bring a suitable dress but then I decided to borrow the shirt from my friend Rajiv who was in the CS-42 section of NIEC.

My name was called, went and sat on the benches near to the interviewer's room. The seniors managing the event gave us instructions about what to do and what not to do during the interview. Tied up the loosened show laces, arranged and re-arranged all the resumes(My resume had my photo that made it different from others and I felt proud on seeing my resume) and certificates. Geared up and as soon as my time arrived got up took God's name and went towards the room. Pulled the door and entered the room, smiled and greeted the Interviewer.

He asked me as to why I want to be in their company and I replied that I have a zeal to learn and work. Then he gave me a puzzle to find out the numbers of squares in a chess board. I said answered 64 but he replied to think again. Then I thought what exactly he meant was to find out total squares including combinational ones also. I took a guess and gave a random answer 154 or something which was obviously wrong. He gave me my resume to help me do the calculations on its blank side. I drew 8 by 8 blocks and analyzed it. As it was taking much time I asked for some time to think and he graciously allotted it to me. He asked me the answer but I had not computed the answer by that time rather I gave the calculation formula 1*1+2*2+....8*8 . Although I found out later that it was the correct answer he did not gave an expression whether the answer was right or wrong, rather he then moved to his next query.

The query was an analysis of a situation in which I found my baggage(including my tickets) to be lost during a rail journey and he asked the steps taken by me in that situation. I visualised the scene and told I would get down at the next station and inform the station master about it, also would lodge an FIR about the incident. Then if I had any friend in that city would go to his/her house otherwise would continue with the journey. But then the interviewer stopped me by saying that how would I continue with my journey as my tickets were presumably lost. I smartly said I would have made sure to keep my ID proofs to get verified by the ticket checker! After some more questions he asked whether I would like to ask any question, I replied "no" and he said good luck to me.

Then late in night we were waiting for the results. Two of my friends Saurabh Shukla and Shraddha Tiwari(talked to her for first the time that day) had no mode of conveyance so I agreed to drop both of them. The results were declared, as far as I remember from NIEC joinees my name was the first to be declared. Felt happy but not any acute emotions. On seeing the intense emotions of fellow joinees I too got some adrenaline rushing.

Meanwhile remembered about Saurabh and Shraddha but presumably they were dejected somewhat and had left the place. I went out and found them outside the college gate. I told that I would drop them to their residence so asked them to just wait for a moment to bring my bike from the parking. On the way back they congratulated me but Saurabh sounded very depressed. I too did not feel too good because I knew what pain they might be undergoing that time.

So it was a nice time after that day, Anup's Satyam results were still awaited. Results came and he got selected in it.

Now the time has somewhat changed, recession is going on in the IT industry and very few or none of the companies are coming to colleges for placements. Some companies sent sorry letters to the joinees some offered BPO jobs, very few gave joinings to their candidates. Satyam and Wipro were involved in separate financial troubles which made it difficult for their candidates to join the company. Infosys was the first one that offered joinings as per commitment and at such large scale, all joinees got their joinings by march, 2009.

Thus summing up I believe it does not matter much whether we start early or late, but the "zeal" definitely matters and yeah "luck" plays a great role as well.

Lenders are always beggars for the time that follows...

It is 5 A.M. in the morning, and I am still awake. Another thought provoking session is on in my head and till it does not end and lull me into sleep I thought its rather a good time to write it out here.

There's just a month left for my Infosys joining and I am now analysing the things I have lended out to the lot. As the analysis progress I am wondering how many things I have given out to the people who never even bother to return it, leave alone returning on time. When you want anything you have given out you probably seem a bigger and a befitting beggar than the borrower at the time he/she borrows that thing.

And the audit began...A digicam lended, money, important books, CD's, that childhood photograph you always cherished, etc etc, nothing came back, you have to remind them again and again, everything seemed so close when you had them once with you and now they are all soo distant.

Stricken by this attitude of humans I always copied and gave any software when required by anyone, I knew if the original CD's got lost it would be irreparable loss for me, Now even the Re-writable CD's are unseen in my Cupboard. It's not that I can't afford another one, but it's more like why the hell is the nature of people like this.

Sometimes people also mistake me for a "rich" guy wanting to "drool" all his wealth down. Many a times I have come across people saying "arre tumhare badepapa to M.P. hain tumhe paise ki kya tension"("you are a nephew of a Parliamentarian you could easily spent so much on such and such thing"), Believe it I just hate this statement, I love my badepapa, I know he does and he would help me with anything if ever would I need it but it does not mean I devalue the value of money. I don't like spending money without any rhyme or reason. I normally don't go for movies coz everytime I think about going for one I think that 100 rupees means a lot for any poor family(that I would have spent for a movie) and my soul disallows me to go out.

At this moment I remember two cases during my B.tech course worthwhile to mention here. I remember one friend of mine "Navneet Maurya" had to get some documents notarized for any educational process. As a friend I said I would help him in getting the documents notarized as my Uncle is a lawyer. He came to my house, got him introduced him with the juniors working under my uncle. Got his work done, I payed the juniors since they had to buy and use the stamp papers for the whole process. Next day when I went to college I reminded him that I have paid such amount to the juniors. And I was disappointed by his reply that your uncle is such an esteemed lawyer, you must be getting the stamp papers free!, and I was fuming and thinking that first of all you take help and then when your desire is fulfilled you never take a glance back! Anyways after some days later he brought and gave me half of the money, when I said why only half, his reply was he dropped and lost the rest money somewhere. Afterwards he never thought to pay back and I never asked.

Another incident I remember was when "Ashish Singh" and I accorded to go college together on my bike and we mutually agreed on that he would pay me Rs. 120 monthly for the fuel expenses. One month passed and he did not pay, still I thought he would pay by next month, another month passed. He payed me rs. 40!!. I kept on asking to pay as I had to spend nearly 400-500 rupees a month on fuel that time. He had to pay 240 and payed 40!, I remember how I used to go 2 KMs inside HAL just to pick him up. I thought it was better to quit. I made up and told a false reason that I am annoyed with the excessive security HAL is having.

It is not that these 100 or 200 rupees are my life but when 200-300 rupees turn into 1000-2000 rupees then into more and more then it does!, not in amount but in my thinking about the human nature. Every borrower says: "I am not like the rest, you can trust on me", the "trust" is bound to be broken!. My conclusion to my experience is that in Business and money matters don't trust anybody!, and If you are lending anything be prepared for begging. If you aren't a beggar, simply don't lend.

PS: Though I have pinpointed some people, still it stands for the general outlook, I am really upset with the garb people carry while borrowing. Really fed up!!

My Borrowing-Lending Principle: Anything that goes out...Never comes back. If it does you're still in your dreams, wake up!!

When something touches your emotional side you see nothing else

It is 11:50 in the night, uptill an hour ago and I was raging in anger after seeing the spiced up story posted up on the C2W blog and seeing my comments and comments by those who supported me being deleted on that blog, my mind was constantly speaking with me on what was correct and justified, but just a few moments back I saw a message by rahul242424 on my C2W message board that he by god's blessing's got a 1 month old baby and swear by it that he hasn't done what I pointed out in a recent post.

You know we all value our opinions and always try to stand by it, but for me my opinions are less valuable as compared to my feelings for others. He just by saying that he "swear by his baby" has touched my emotional side, I felt like crying on seeing that message. What I felt was that my soul telling me that please dump this issue you cannot give so much pains to a newly made father, he is undergoing such an important phase in life.

Lets say it was a reason-X that has brought us so much far from human feelings. Nobody knows what this "X" reason was, it can be me forgetting to add enough questions, could be rahul mistakenly deleting my questions, could be a computer error, could be what God desired...anything. I was adamant to carry on with this issue but I am not a sadistic person who gets pleasure by inflicting pain on others. If you give pain to others the thoughts afterwards torture you more than what any physical harm can do.

Now after seeing his message I have replied him back and now my conscience is speaking to me like "oh Rahul please come online and see my message, I dont want to make you upset". And seriously I feel like I am too tired and want to sit on a chair, but the chair is adorned with many needles(just comparing the state of my mind at present).

Lets all pledge to be more amicable and frank in our life, Problems should be taken into consideration as soon as they occur, if they are given time to develop then it would even take more time to bridge(eliminate) them together.

Now I really want to give the prizes I won to rahul, earlier it was as a feeling of attitude, now it is more as a feeling of gratitude and my hearty wishes for his newborn baby.

phew!!, I am too tired to type more, my vexed mind needs some time to relax, it feels like my brain is just tearing apart, so much pain that it's unbearable, really!

Technology Getting Into Our Heads

I've been always using my internet for making money, but lately since my laptop's wifi died due to reformatting of the OS, I am therefore left with no other option to use internet than to be back thriving on my desktop. There is a rule of life that if there is any good and better thing and an ordinary one, mostly individuals go for the better one. Same is the case with me, the laptop(gifted by my brother as he got one more from his company) slowly began developing interest in me.

I remember when the booting in desktop took nearly 4 minutes and shutdown about half of it. But when I switched to the laptop the booting and processing times decreased gradually. Earlier days of the laptop and I was using laptop for casual surfing and desktop for work, but slowly as development work slowed down I began to be more often using the lappy. After few days of using the laptop the desktop was nearly abandoned by me, only got started when my father had any work on it.

But there have always been technological problems on my systems, when Laptop was on the desktop's internet connection wont work, So when papa was using internet I had to play those monotonous games on my system(codename eagle, just flying the airplane and performing aerobatics, crashing, takeoff, landings...repeatedly). But still it was ok with me.

Now the things have changed, as the LAN & WLAN adapters aren't getting detected on lappy so to be on desktop is only option for me at this moment. When good things turn worse, it irritates. The cyber world has again got slow, the internet is too spasmodic. The Technology is really getting into our heads.

About Me

Though this blog has been made the most toughest part is to decide from where to begin. I presume this will be a temporary issue and the flow of thoughts will eventually smoothen out.

I am Ankit Bhatia, a person who has a heart full of love for nature, mostly truthful and have a kind heart for everyone except for those who harm nature and those who think materialism is worth more than morality. I am a strict lacto-vegetarian and moreover also promote vegetarianism whenever get a chance to.

I used to think that I am very emotional, but after much retrospection I came to a conclusion that I am not emotional for what the world shed tears. I do not have any specific feeling when I see any death but rather the pain anyone undergoes makes me emotional. When I see little children on streets asking for alms or a dog writhing with pain after an accident it brings tear to my eyes. I know the world might not be able to justify my feelings but the main aspect is that these are my feelings and I cannot change it.

I love technology but lately I have started to feel the world without "intense" technology would have been better(Pardon me but I am still using this laptop!!). I am a thinker, would keep on thinking about incidents and "what could be" "what should be" "why did they" blah blah these types of queries surround me.

I do not believe in life after death but I want to live forever. I used to write poems earlier but have been out of streak for quite some time. I feel the urge to write songs although never gave it a try.

Welcome Everyone

Hello all, often in life we want to have an existence; existence according to me is having our presense in the memories of oneself as well as others. I am creating this blog so that I could cherish and recollect the good memories as well as browse through the nemesis moments of my life.

This blog was for long waiting to be made. This blog is not for fame or to hurt anyone's feeling but simply a recollection of thoughts that goes in my mind and also what I deem as correct or incorrect. Basically it is a place which would help me to talk with my own soul.

Any comments from those who know me or those who would like to know me or even those who want to mention brickbats are welcomed.
